Reading is the biggest privilege

 
 



The main aims of this project
was to gather a group of 32 young people from 5 EU program countries who are coming from socially and economically disadvantaged backgrounds, in order to give them opportunity to do something useful for importance of reading habit. There were carried out activities that aim to instil and raise awareness in participants about the importance of reading habit as a tool to guide the youth to learning, to support social integration.

Different and effective non formal learning methods were used
during the project period in order to contribute active learning. Participants were encouraged taking part actively to all the activities and workshops. There was collaboration activities between organization in youth field.

The young participants took part in
discussions about what can be done to increase the level of reading and love of reading along with the positive and negative effects of ever increasing technological improvements on reading. In addition to these informative sessions, participating youth had chances to interact with each other in discussions, in awareness raising campaigns, in actions such as sit-downs to read, and activities to create posters and bookmarks.
