Nonformal_education_in_democracy - Involved Youth Coalition

The European Training „Non-formal education, an effective tool for development in democracy” took place from 24 April - 05 May 2012 in Iasi, Romania. Participants were 23 youth workers and youth leaders from Bulgaria, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Spain, Romania and Turkey.
The European training themes were: non-formal education, volunteering, democracy and civil society.
The training included various activities such as: Input of trainers on Volunteering, Democracy, Social inclusion, Civil society, Kolb Cycle, workshops related to the topics of the inputs, presentations of Youth in Action Programme, European Year of Volunteering, exercises on formal and non-formal education and on democracy, brainstormings on civil society and funding oportunities, intercultural evening, evaluation etc.

The project has been funded with support from the European Commission through Youth in Action Program.
