FOCUS GROUPS

Iasi - Romania

    
 Within the project “Let’s get active! Incentives for citizens active participation at in the democratic life of the European Union” were organized 3 focus-groups on September and October 2015 at the County Sport and Youth Directorate Iasi and participated: citizens, youth, high school teachers, students, university teachers, entrepreneurs, representatives of civil society etc.

            The main opinion of the participants at the focus groups is that in Romania is a lack of information of the citizens about their ways to be involved in the community life, the citizens are not aware about their role in community, youth don't receive in schools enough information about civic culture, there is not enough recognition of the voluntary involvement within different civic and social community activities, the existent source and tools of information regarding ways of participation are not enough efficient.
