CREATIVE INDUSTRIES AWARDS GALA

"Art is a beautiful way to communicate with complete strangers at first and to get in touch with them forever" said Jure (from Slovenia) about this gala.

On 26 th November of 2014, Kasta Morrely International Organization prepared a public event to show to 28 persons from different countries what is Teatru de Moda and how it is a success story about Creative Industries. These people came from Bulgaria, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia and Turkey and they were in Iasi to participate in a Training Course named Creative Entrepreneurship – Successful Career for Youth financed by the European Commission through Erasmus + Programme. This Training Course occurred between 18 and 28 November of 2014 and it was created following the necessity of entrepreneurship as a remarkable way to employability for youth and to encourage creativity and social values.


 
 

          Finding solutions through creative industries for problems in participants’ community is the main message during the event. People of all ages and from Iasi, participated in the activities, either on stage or behind the scenes. After several days of testing and preparation, activities such fashion shows, songs and dances happened on stage with adults and children. The 28 strangers were also involved in this public event. Their tasks were: welcome the guests, taking pictures, helping with the lights and sound, making the report and participate in the fashion theater. In this last one, it was possible to share a little of culture of each country, sharing some music and traditional dances.
       Several awards were given throughout the evening.


Organizations from each country were also awarded.
International Relations Research Student Association from Bulgaria,
Association for Developing Alternative Tourism from Bulgaria,
Students’ Representative Body of Mykolas Romeris University from Lithuania,
Youth Alliance from Macedonia,
Centrum Wolontariatu from Poland,
Geoclube – Associação Juvenil de Ciência, Natureza e Aventura from Portugal,
Intercultural Associacion for All from Portugal,
Fundacija Tramp from Slovenia and
Turizm Folklor Arastirma Kurumu Dernegi from Turkey
received a diploma in Advertising and Promotion Category.



       This Gala had a noticeable impact on the public and on the participants from other countries. The applauses were many and the spirit of help and companionship was always present.
       At the end of the event some opinions were collected:
Hilal from Turkey said "It was a completely different situation for me. I got excited a lot. But I had fun and a good and enjoyable experience";
        
Dragama from Macedonia said "From this event I learnt a lot about other cultures. With one performance we showed that all people can play together";
        
Arturas from Lithuania said "It was awesome experience. I’ve enjoyed. I think that was a good chance to be a little bit famous. And now I have experience on stage as a model… so fun…" and
        
Boyan from Bulgaria said "I’ve really enjoyed the Fashion Theater and this event made me feel like a star. I think that if I have a chance I will definitely take part again".
